DTF (Direct To Film) is a printing technique that transfers your design from a special film directly onto fabric using heat. Unlike vinyl or screen printing, DTF allows you to print fine details, gradients, and vibrant colors without worrying about layers or cutting.
Description
Application Instructions:
1.- Transfer Method:
Use a heat press (recommended for best results) or a high-pressure household iron.
2.- Peeling the Backing Paper:
* For Standard Fabrics (Cotton, Polyester, Blends):
Allow the transfer to cool slightly (10–15 seconds) after pressing.
Peel the backing paper while still warm for a clean, smooth finish.
* For Delicate or Stretchy Fabrics (Spandex, Performance Materials):
Let the transfer cool completely before peeling to prevent cracking or lifting.
3.- Second Press (Optional but Recommended):
After peeling, press the design a second time (cover with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper) for 15–20 seconds to ensure maximum adhesion and durability.
Pro Tip: Always test a small area first to determine the ideal peeling temperature for your specific fabric!
